Monroe is representing a Well Established company specializing in welding
and cutting, looking for a Logistic Manager. This candidate will lead a
team of 3 and report to the head of supply chain. Someone experienced
and friendly is needed as this caliber has to mingle with the warehouse
department.


Job Description

• Lead the team to manage all logistics operations in the trading company in terms of people, process, system, service quality, resources optimization, cost management and related planning activities.
  
• Develop logistical planning including shipments, import / export, warehousing, storage and local services to support growth and international distribution operations.
  
• Implement new operations for the customer to accommodate growth and changing business requirements.
  
• Maintain effective communications with distributors, end users, suppliers, subordinates, country managers, regional support team and customers.
  
• Establish good external relationship with government concerned to ensure the company can optimized the policies involved favourably.
  
• Control logistics cost in accordance with budget.
  
• Supervise warehousing duties to insure the safety and accuracy of goods.
  
• Analyze statistics (key indicators) and implement service level improvements.
  
• Adhere to EHS policy, responsible for environment and safety management on
  
• logistics operations.
  
• Negotiate and manage contracts and service level agreements with third party logistics partners to ensure ESAB products are shipped on time, safely, securely, accurately and in a cost-effective mode;
  
• Stock-take cycles & inventory reconciliations between our system, ESAB
  
• warehouses and continuous cycle count program with 3PLs to ensure accurate inventory levels
  
• Support Lean/continuous improvement projects / initiatives within the Department.
  

Job Requirements

• Degree in related field and completion of an accredited program in Logistics or supply chain management or,
  
• 8 to 10 years experience in Freight forwarding, Logistics, international trade and/or warehouse management;
  
• Mature, self-driven with strong customer focus and ability to develop positive relationships with potential partners, internal and external customers
  
• Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft applications at an advanced level
  
• Demonstrated flexibility to meet and adapt to changes in organizational priorities.
  
• Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload and work under time pressures to meet deadlines
