Our client is a comprehensive hospitality solutions provider with presence in over 20 countries worldwide providing cost effective solutions to more than 4,000 hotels with over 6,000 installations in 32 countries. job summaryThe Sales Director role is a hands-on senior business development position within the region and involves working closely with the Country Manager and in-country team in developing sales plans and goes to market strategies. The role is a diverse and dynamic role that involves a combination of solution selling, product knowledge, building a portfolio and overall operational experience as a sales manager. The person must demonstrate excellence in communication at senior levels with key customers and partners, and maintain a high profile within the business community to maintain FCS's credentials as a reputable business partner. Job Description
- To drive the overachievement of sales and revenue targets while keeping to expenditure budget for the Thailand region.
- Achieve all sales targets for both direct and channel sales.
- To develop existing and identify new potential market segments for FCS solutions.
- Develop & maintain a sales plan for the region.
- Ensure integrity in Sales Force for reporting and forecasting purposes.
- Coordinate in-country teams to ensure the most effective use of resources (including technical resources).
- Maintain an excellent working relationship with key clients and
potential clients in your region, to ensure that FCS is considered favorably and to identify business opportunities as they arise.
- Work closely with FCS partners to target and close business.
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 8 years selling IT solutions to the hospitality
industry, within that at least 5 years direct and channel sales management experience.
- Proven experience in enterprise software solution selling and growing sales revenue year on year.
- Effective oral communicator at all levels internally and externally in either a technical or non-technical environment.
- Strong ability in written communications. Spoken and written English is a must.
- Strong presentation skills required; ability to clearly articulate value proposition to C-level managers.
- A proven team player with the ability to multi-task.
- Excellence in business ethics and integrity.
- Candidates with extensive contacts in the hospitality industry
and an in-depth understanding in the day-to-day operations of hotels are preferred but not mandatory.
