Our respected client is seeking a professional with a background in Psychology or Law and at least five years’ experience in a HRM and GA managerial capacity to fill the job of Human Resource Management & General Affairs Manager, to be based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The winning candidate will align and drive the Human Resources function along with the business objectives/goals and provide a competitive and sustainable HRM framework for the unit. The successful applicant will develop people capabilities in the unit by selecting, retaining,and compensating the best talent. Build a learning culture within the organization and fostering a healthy climate for career enhancements and employee aspirations in the unit, is also vital. Key responsibilities will include:
- Develop and integrate unit HRM strategies within the framework of Corporate HRM strategies
- Act as change catalyst in the cultural transformation of the unit
- Create a proactive, fair and firm Industrial relations culture
- Implement and sustain company’s code of conduct and value systems
- Monitor and coordinate with Corporate HRM for career and succession planning
- Monitor HRM scorecard in order to align and assess the HRM deliverables in relation to the business objectives
- Provide input to Corporate HRM for developing State of the Art
HRM systems and practices to build organizational mindset, capability and competitive advantage
- Identify and develop key communities and plan their support
- Drive internal communication channels
- Maintain excellent liaison and relationship with local government bodies,union leadership and industry associations
- Reinforce learning and development initiatives in the unit
through supporting individual and team development, career development,training and experience-based learning
- Interact with the Department Heads on a daily basis in areas of manpower planning, people development and industrial relations.
- Implement Employee Satisfaction surveys and ensure the results are communicated
- Ensure follow-up on the action plans
- Implement the performance management system and align with Balance Scorecard
- Rationalize manpower utilization and perform appropriate rightsizing activities
- Implement appropriate Reward and Recognition Program for employees linked to customer delight
- Ensure compliance of all statutory and non-statutory HRM aspects for fulfillment of corporate governance
- Coordinating consulting studies related to HRM function
Requirements:
- Male/female no older than 45 years of age
- Degree in psychology or law, Master’s preferred, from reputable university
- 5 years’ experience (min.) as HRM & GA Manager
- Certified human resources professional
- Thorough knowledge of modern HRM tools and techniques
- High level of integrity
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent people-management skills
- High degree of computer literacy
- Knowledge on the statutory laws related to HRM
- Able to multitask
