Our client is seeking a professional of the highest standard and integrity to fill the important job of Finance and Administration Manager, to be based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The winning candidate will have no less than eight years’ experience in management reporting. Key responsibilities will include:
- Corporate reporting to Singapore and Group Finance, UK
- Produce financial summary and detailed management reports in an accurate and timely manner
- Ensure all financial statements and reports are adequately
supported by relevant supporting schedules and is based on approved transactions, as appropriate
- Ensure all financial statements are recorded accurately,
including accounting entries per accounting standards (especially for revenue and WIP), provisions for all taxes, and any potential event that might give rise to provisions or liabilities
- Manage financial and cash-flow forecast for Company
- Ensure key events are planned for accordingly in the financial and cash flow forecast
- Formulating and implementing financial and accounting policies
- Provide analysis, recommendations and ensure that internal controls are effective
- Ensure the financial data generated comply with the group’s standards
- Work closely with sales and engineering department on sales forecast, financial performance and detailed project costing
- Support any ad-hoc system enhancement projects that would help drive the project’s initiatives
- Handle Indonesia tax planning and filing matters
- Ensure minimum of weekly discussions occur with Financial Controller on any key matters arising or updates as necessary
- Ensure complete compliance for all statutory and tax filings
including but not limited to statutory audit reporting and filing, tax filings (corporate, withholding, VAT, etc); company secretarial requirements
- Motivate Finance and office team members with sufficient challenge, motivation and delegation of duties accorded to each of them
- Ensure payroll and HR matters are managed appropriately
- Ensure that all office, administrative, IT matters, etc for office is adequately managed together with Regional Functional teams
- Assist in the preparation of Tenders requirements and Quotations to customers
- Ensure all legal matters are managed properly
- Liaise with customers with regard to invoicing and collection
- Liaise with local suppliers and handle any logistic matters arising from business transactions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (min.) in finance/accounting from reputable university
- At least 8 years’ experience in management reporting
- Fluent in English, both oral and written
- Self-motivated
- Well organized
- Detail oriented
- Strong analytical and investigative mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer literate
- Honest
