| Take Time to Travel to Toronto If you’re looking for a city that has it all, then take time to travel to Toronto! This multicultural metropolis of more than 200 ethnic groups is also the largest city in Canada (and fourth largest city in North America), boasting a population over 2,791,140 (5.7 million in the Greater Toronto Area). Toronto offers something for everyone and, consequently, its population grows by approximately 140,000 new residents annually, mainly through Canadian immigration. Whether you’re viewing the city’s impressive skyline while bicycling or canoeing at Toronto Islands; exploring the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO), Ontario Science Center or Royal Ontario Museum; enjoying a performance by the Toronto Symphony Orchestra; or grabbing a bite to eat at one of Toronto’s many excellent ethnic restaurants – you’ll find so much to see and do in Toronto that you may also want to immigrate to Canada! This way, you can fully appreciate all that this incredible world-class city has to offer. For example, if you like sports, you’ll have exciting entertainment year-round, whether watching the Toronto Maple Leafs NHL hockey team hit the ice; hearing the crack (or ping) of the bat at a Toronto Blue Jays MLB baseball game; or seeing the Toronto Raptors sink hoops at an NBA basketball game. Golfers have many great golf courses to choose from, plus there are numerous places to go swimming, play tennis, or go skiing in the Toronto area. Rather just relax? There are several wonderful spas in and around Toronto where you can relieve life’s stresses by getting pampered, plus this amazing city boasts a happening night life, with countless clubs, excellent eateries, pubs and other places to chill and have a good time (such as Queen Street West and the Parkdale area). Of course, no trip to Toronto is complete without going to the top of the 553-meter CN Tower or beholding the breathtaking beauty of nearby Niagara Falls. Toronto also attracts top performers throughout the year and, in addition to the symphony, music-lovers can also hear smooth sounds during Canadian Music Week (which is next scheduled to occur May 6-10, 2014); the North by Northeast Festival (which is scheduled for June 9-15, 2014); and the Toronto Jazz Festival (which usually takes place in late June). These are just some of the many pleasurable activities that await you if you take a trip to Toronto. Be warned – you may have such a good time during your taste of Toronto that you’ll want to immigrate to Canada so you can live here all the time! This is not an exaggeration; in 2012, out of the 257,515 foreign nationals approved for Canadian immigration, 98,826 of them decided to move to the province of Ontario (where Toronto is located), with most of them settling in the Greater Toronto Area. Ranked as one of the top three Most Livable Cities in the World in 2011 and 2012 by the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), it is not surprising that so many people from around the globe want to immigrate to Canada and move to Toronto.
