| Social Media Manager at Next Models New York, New York, United States Job Description Wanted! Social Media Manager Location – NYC Next Models NYC are looking for a dedicated Social Media Manager to work in house at their model agency. In summary this role will deliver the Social Media strategy set by the Global Press Officer as an extension of the global business growth plan, and to support the models and talent Next represents. The role will grow the social media channels, particularly the agency blog, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Pinterest. It will also manage the relationships with our agency bloggers and give guidance on social media to our models and talent.
- Managing and delivering a concise social media strategy with a consistent brand message to the fashion world for Next Models
- Primarily focusing on Blog, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and Youtube
- Running the ‘real time’ perception Next Models – with a specific understanding of the fashion landscape – presenting relevant content about our models, talent, chefs and artists.
- Linking in all internal and external partnerships, editorial content, pictorial content and events to the social media platforms
- Growing the communities
- Assisting the PR team with social media presence at all events and shoots
- Engaging with our models to advise them on their social media strategy
Required skills
- Excellent experience of working with all the main social media platforms, in particular: word press Blog, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Pinterest
- A good knowledge of fashion and modelling industry, and the publications
- Strong attention to detail, with great organisational skills, ability to work fast and under pressure
- Experience of working in an international team and together creating multi-platform content and campaigns
- Understand and represent the brand values of Next Models
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Experience in targeting and working with blogger communities
- Creative thinker
- Available to start immediately
