We’re looking for people who improve their own well-being by looking out for the best interests of others.Assignment Capsule Be a part of our Marketing organization – deliver value and quality in a fast paced environment.Humana is seeking a Marketing and Communications Consultant who will be responsible for drafting and editing marketing and consumer-focused communication materials, including brochures and slip sheets, articles, and publications as well as content for company’s website and mobile applications, RFPs, proposals, and presentations. An innate love of writing is a must, as is the ability to draft professional and polished documents quickly and under tight deadlines. The consultant/writer will have a “can do” attitude and work in close collaboration with the company’s senior management, sales, and account management:
- Develop compelling marketing and communications literature including web content as well as mobile apps, printed materials, presentations, proposals, newsletters, brochures, video, multimedia, bios, etc. that conform to prescribed style and formatting
- Present ideas in clear, logical, and concise form. Synthesize and present data and processes in multiple formats: text, charts, diagrams, etc
- Apply excellent proofreading and editing skills to marketing content across various media, including proposals, collateral materials, and website content
- Assist the RFP team by drafting technically accurate, high quality proposals, capabilities statements and RFP responses that are consistent with client-specific requirements
- Work closely with clients to develop and execute health and wellness marketing strategies
- Demonstrate fluency with online solutions and social media trends
- Learn and understand an audience and produce appropriate content for different media

QualificationsRole Essentials
- Five plus years of experience in a marketing/communications capacity
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, English or related field
- Prior work experience with Social Media and Mobile marketing
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office suite to include Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Highly analytical, organized and detail-oriented
- Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations requiring adherence to tight deadlines
- Possess considerable writing flexibility and ability to adjust writing style and direction with minimal effort
- Possess excellent writing and analytical skills as well as superior research skills
- Strategic thinker

- Experience with and understanding of healthcare, wellness services, workplace consulting practices, geriatric issues
- Previous management experience
- Prior agency experience
- Client-service oriented with the ability to take care of internal clients’ needs in a professional and courteous manner
