Job Summary:
This is a programming and software development position in an international company. Your job is to translate our business processes and procedures into programming language.
Responsibilities:
- Consult with different departments in the company to understand the current management and information system and to find the needs of these departments.
- Design, code and test new Java applications which will be new integral parts of the company’s management and information system.
- Consult with internal users to clarify program intent, identify problems and suggest changes.
- Troubleshoot and maintain existing Java applications.
- Assist support personnel in resolving application and technical issues.
Requirements:
- Although prior Java development experience is preferred, recent college graduates are encouraged to apply if you have a good understanding of Java development.
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
- Solid understanding of the Java programming language.
- Solid understanding of relational databases.
- Business management and project management knowledge is beneficial, but not required.
- Fluent verbal and written English. Proficiency in Chinese a plus.
- Being autonomous and able to work independently.
- Ability to coordinate, cooperate, prioritize and multi-task.
- Detail-oriented with a focused work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Reporting Relationships:
This position reports to Information System Manager.
Remuneration: Scalable salary + bonus
Location: Shanghai
Others:20 days’ annual leave per year after 3-month probation.
