This position will be responsible for managing the delivery of IT
& Business related projects
aligned with International Business
strategy, within agreed parameters of time and cost.
This
responsibility covers the full life cycle from project initiation &
definition, through requirements definition, planning & execution,
and implementation/post implementation support. The project leader is
also responsible for the overall quality of all ICT projects, the use of
formal project management methodologies and must ensure that all
projects are carried out to Hertz Information Technology standards using
the agreed Project Management Framework (PMF) life cycle and
documentation standards. The project leader is also required to manage
a team of Analysts to ensure that production platforms are maintained
and solutions are developed and delivered in a manner designed to ensure
maximum benefits to the business. Key-result areas: Overall project
management for a portfolio of projects assigned by the PMO or local IT
management. Work closely with project stakeholders and key users to
define project scope, goals and deliverables that support their business
