| Area Manager has a key role in achieving the sales targets of chain of Retail Stores in a specific geographic area, they work closely with Store Managers and Showroom Supervisors to plan, co-ordinate, maintain and develop each Store’s commercial performance and to Oversee the Retail Store operations and provide active strategic business support, they are increasingly referred to as business or sales development managers.
Job Responsibilities :
Selecting, training, motivating and developing staff;
Monitoring health and safety, environmental health and legal requirements;
Ensuring that Store premises are maintained to company and legal standards
Monitoring the business performance of Stores and setting and achieving Sales targets;
Promoting company products;
Broadening awareness of market and competitor activity.
Guide and coach the Store Managers/ Supervisors in managing the store efficiently.
Seek to improve the staff awareness of stock loss and ensure procedures of reducing shrinkage are implemented
Prepare the Budget for the Stores under supervision.
Report the needs of the stores and follow the requirements.
Daily Weekly Monthly Sales Reporting.
Prepare Staff Salary list for Payroll Purpose.
Meet the employee grievance.
Should follow the slow and fast moving merchandise
Maximize sales and exceeds areas sales target
Ensure Space and stock managements
Constrictive feedback in two way upwards and down wards
Plan and organize key promotions events
Monitor the sales performance of the events/promotion and highlights area for improvements
Supervise the visual merchandising of the stores. and drive high commercial standard of visual merchandise in conjunction with the visual VM team, this is including the window display and store entrance
Ensure housekeeping/recovery principles by walk trough and correction action
Initiate and promote high standard of in store training
Ensure that daily briefing are carry in all the area of responsibility
Conduct a yearly employee appraisal followed by coaching and directions
Ensures that area of responsibility are fully compliant with required administrative
Ensure a comprehensive stores operations visits based on regular planed schedules, action plan and follow up on given tasks
Ensure efficient customer service and seek for opportunity to improve customer satisfactions
Skills
Graduate / post Graduate in Business Management or Commerce
Driving License
Computer Literate
English and Arabic Speaking
3-5 years Retail Experience in handling multiple Showrooms and managing Retail Team
Capable to evaluate the team
Should work under pressure.
High level of Communication skills.
Ability to solve problems
Project Management skill
