Core Duties/Responsibilities: This position is designed for someone with at least 2 to 4 years of work experience and is the key contributor for all client day to day issues and projects. Account Managers also work closely with Media Planners, Client Service Engineers and websites requiring experience managing timelines and tight deadlines, project management skills, the ability to multi-task, problem solve, a 'can-do' attitude, and a proven ability to work in a team environment. This role reports to a Manager, Client Service. Core Duties/Responsibilities: Client Service - Demonstrates bigger picture understanding of client's marketing strategy and can communicate how current data insights/tactics associate with longer-term strategy objectives - Anticipates client questions and has thought out answers/solutions - Ability to take complex ideas and explain to clients - Always thinking about how we can better serve clients and grow their business - Ability to manage difficult and complex issues and partner w/Account Director - Owns area of expertise and can confidently answer client/team questions - Presents at client meetings and industry events as needed - Willing to go above and beyond the call of duty to delight the client and deliver excellent service - Demonstrates thinking/communicating from the client's perspective as well as Avenue A - Razorfish's Account Management - Performs day-to-day client contact - Coordinate deliverables for weekly status reports (projects, due dates, etc) - Facilitates/leads weekly status calls - Trains/mentors team members when necessary - Provide project management on all projects within the account team - Prioritizes & sets expectations on deliverables - Manages all tactical client communication and cross team coordination - Multiple channel management as needed (branding, affiliate, search, email, web media, etc.) - Provide POV's in weekly client status calls/meetings - Specific client requests: - CIG - Competitive analysis - Research - Sample budgets - Media analysis Knowledge and application of aQuantive Services where relevant should include: - Atlas DMT - Atlas One (advertiser) - NetConversions - Drive Campaign Management skills/responsibilities should include: - Forecasting & budget allocation - Campaign planning - Campaign execution - Creative optimization - Site optimization - Action tag strategy - Delivery of Q/A Strategy/Analysis skills/responsibilities should include: - Campaign analysis - Forecasting - Support Media strategy - Advanced data analysis and campaign reviews - Special reports builder pulling Atlas data, publisher reports, extended data, etc. Creative skills/responsibilities should include: - Internal or agency creative needs: - Development - Strategy - Approval process - Customer targeting approval process Accounting skills/responsibilities should include: - Quality assurance - Accounting reconciliation - Organize Pricing Riders, Buy Authorizations - Create BA Recap - Input publisher counts - Publisher accounts
Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience - Excel and MS Office proficiency required - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - Strong time-management and organizational skills - Strong client-service orientation and proven team player - Flexible to evolving responsibilities and last minute changes - Solid knowledge of Atlas and other relevant technologies - Ability to easily work with data and come up with insights - Demonstrated knowledge of online marketing (ad units, pricing, concepts behind, etc) - Trained in client service skills where relevant - General knowledge of research tools Education and/or Experience: - BA or equivalent experience required - Internet and/or traditional marketing experience preferred This position is forfreelance employment.
