The
Internship Program provides a unique opportunity for highly talented
individuals. During the program, a small group of participants take on
assignments in functional areas (Finance, Business Needs, Category
Development, Supply Chain, Member Development, and Sourcing) while
receiving maximum exposure to the company's core businesses,
technologies and leaders. The Internship Program is a premier

nationally.

Foodbuy, LLC is a Group Purchasing
Organization (GPO) focused exclusively on lowering purchasing and
product costs for its members; Foodbuy has offices in Charlotte, NC and
Atlanta, GA with over 200 employees. The Foodbuy GPO currently manages
$9 billion in purchasing volume - and over 12,000 operator outlets that
benefit from Foodbuy negotiated programs.

Functional Areas

The Internship Program participants develop their careers in the following functional areas within the company:

· Finance

Representative
assignments may include rotations dealing with financial analysis,
analysis of pricing strategies and opportunity analysis.

· Business Needs

The
most critical element of our business is operations. This is where our
customers, the end user of the products we purchase, reside. Building
procurement programs that meet the needs of business requirements while
maximizing our procurement leverage is the ultimate goal. Assignments
will include first-hand interaction with operators in the field.

· Category Development Food & Supplies, Equipment & services

Assignments may include implementation of contracts, supplier management, product specifications.

· Supply Chain

Assignments
may include strategic roles on projects such as optimizing distribution
and customer service processes, vendor transitions and contract
maximization.

· Member Development

Typical
assignments may include working with Sales teams on client support,
maintenance, and the development of prospective clients. Assessing the
value of maximizing the potential of our clients through expanded
services and growth opportunities.· Sourcing

Assignments
may include market research, product analysis, product specification,
and service related providers. Participants will review product
manufacturing plants to gain an understanding production, supply and
supplier relationships.

Qualifications for Participation

Supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills

Good communication skills both written and verbal

Must be a rising senior with a minimum GPA of 3.0

Candidate must have the flexibility to travel and rotate to several Foodbuy and Compass locations

Concentrations in Finance and/or Supply Chain Management preferred

Outstanding Results.

the program staff, mentors and managers to identify a possible final
placement in a business area depending on individual performance and
results, demonstrated leadership behaviors, and business needs.
Qualified alumni from this program are expected to assume leadership
roles within the organization and, with time, to become managers.
